Eastern Edge magazine had been around for years and had started as a small zine coming out of Vermont. Through a bizarre and tragic turn of events I found myself faced with the opportunity to art direct the redesign of Eastern Edge. I had never even worked in print before and a wiser man would probably have said no way. I on the other jumped at the chance. All and all I'm pleased with the results. If I were to ever do a magazine again I think I would quit my day job so that I could focus more time on the quality of the product. Balancing two full times is just too much to handle, unless you are Jamaican of course. In which case having only two jobs would be like being on vacation more...
